  • Ongoing maintenance and support

Project Terms

Project Scope

  • Project scope will be defined in a written agreement before work begins
  • Any changes to scope require written approval and may affect timeline and cost
  • Client is responsible for providing all necessary content, images, and materials
  • Additional revisions beyond agreed scope may incur additional charges

Timeline & Delivery

  • Project timelines are estimates and depend on client responsiveness
  • Delays in client feedback may extend project timeline
  • We will provide regular updates on project progress
  • Final delivery includes all source files and documentation

Payment Terms

Payment Schedule

  • 50% deposit required to begin work
  • 25% milestone payment at 50% completion
  • 25% final payment upon project completion
  • Payment due within 30 days of invoice

Payment Methods

  • Bank transfer (preferred)
  • Credit card payments
  • PayPal payments
  • Check payments (US only)

Late Payment Policy

  • Late payments may incur a 1.5% monthly service charge
  • Work may be suspended for payments overdue by 30+ days
  • Domain and hosting services may be suspended for non-payment
  • Legal action may be taken for payments overdue by 90+ days

Intellectual Property

Client Ownership

Upon full payment, the client owns all custom code, designs, and content created specifically for their project.

  • Custom website code and functionality
  • Original designs and layouts
  • Project-specific content and copy
  • Custom graphics and images created for the project

Hawkins Media Rights

We retain rights to certain elements used in your project:

  • Third-party frameworks and libraries
  • Our proprietary development tools and processes
  • Portfolio rights to showcase completed work
  • General knowledge and techniques gained during the project

Warranties & Limitations

Our Warranties

  • Work will be performed in a professional manner
  • Deliverables will meet agreed specifications
  • Code will be clean, well-documented, and standards-compliant
  • 90-day warranty on workmanship defects

Limitations

  • We are not responsible for third-party service outages
  • Client is responsible for content accuracy and legality
  • We do not guarantee specific SEO rankings or traffic
  • Browser compatibility limited to current major browsers

Termination

Client Termination

  • Client may terminate with 30 days written notice
  • Payment due for all completed work
  • Source files provided upon final payment
  • No refunds for completed work

Hawkins Media Termination

  • We may terminate for non-payment
  • Termination for breach of contract
  • 30 days notice for convenience termination
  • Client receives all completed work
